Quite possibly the worst administrator in NYC. Acts like she’s saving the world, although this is only through her WORDS, not her ACTIONS. Presents herself as this uber-progressive humanitarian although her true colors come out during individual teacher meetings. She gives fly-by-night advice to teachers that she will end up docking them for in a future observation, plays obvious favorites, will write up any of her staff at the drop of a hat, and runs away from Baruch for TWO HOURS when she’s finally confronted with her dubious actions. The fact that this woman has held this position for 20 years is nothing short of shocking.
Targets teachers constantly, gives fly-by-night feedback that she’ll end up docking teachers for in future evaluations, plays clear favorites with her staff, and will write any teacher up at the drop of a hat. For example, I asked a colleague for advice after a subpar evaluation. She wrote me up and dismissed it as “professional misconduct.” Absolutely atrocious administrator.
