Gregg will sell a teacher out in a minute. He doesn’t support teacher growth or initiative. Teachers feel so unheard that at school wide PDs (d75 school) teachers will shout out to at least be heard though Gregg will then yell “this is not the place.” Issues will never be addressed. Union chapter leader is in his pocket. No room for any dissenting opinion, ever, under any circumstances. So many discontinuances.

Gregg is so disinterested in teacher success that when one of our teachers was a big apple teacher of the year (2020) he never even mentioned it. Gregg tears down and doesn’t build up. He cares only about pleasing the superintendent and not about his staff or….the kids!

Gregg does not stand up for his teachers. He is a micromanager. He puts teachers against each other. He breaks the contract routinely. He will never support a teacher if a parent has a concern.

He forged information and did not conduct investigations. IHOs have called him out on this. Gregg is dictatorial and cares only how he appears. During staff meetings he shouts down (literally) anyone who tries to speak. He refuses to grant personal days. He infantalizes our students and our teachers. And he is a liar.”
D75 principal of 9 sites who never visits certain off sites he doesn’t like (haven’t seen him in 4 years at least). Overwhelmingly negative during school wide meetings and PDs saying “your mental health days are Saturday’s and Sundays” and “you’re only as good as your next mistake.” Takes advantage of teachers while staff he has a personal relationship with can do whatever they want. Will not allow field trips even after DOE began them for other schools because of “the current safety climate” (in upper Manhattan, But this is where our kids live!)
