Principal Macey says “unclear is not kind” but somehow manages to be a walking contradiction daily. The definition of unclear and unreasonable leads Brooklyn with no arts and no science. There’s a lot of gaslighting in this building. You are expected to do and do and do at all times, because they never have enough staff members so we are expected to take on way more. You are guilt tripped and seen as not good enough if you don’t do for the school beyond your work hours. Because of the Lack of communication and no support with misbehaviors the teachers and guidance counselors are left to pick up the pieces. The last minute schedule changes and impromptu observations put so much pressure on the teachers. Worse part we get no support at all paired with unreasonable expectations. If it wasn’t for the AP and guidance counselor’s….The school would fall apart.
