Denis is a very nasty administrator who is quite unfair to staff. He started as a science coach who our school said we didn’t want him here. He is friends with the superintendent and that’s how he got his job. Since there it has been nothing but issues he has a big ego and thinks he is the best and knows everything. He is sexist and rates male teachers better than female teachers. He speaks to male staff much more respectfully than he does female. He claims to be an expert in areas he knows nothing about. Constantly has staff running in circles trying new curriculum, new tools, and every year it keeps changing and not for the better. Everything has to be his way or you are ineffective. Not using the tool he wants you are ineffective. He constantly forces teachers to work on their preps and has them in meeting, telling them he’s making their lives easier with curriculum and support but all he does is make all staff miserable and treating everyone like a child.
