A real piece of work this one is…. offered me a job at the Virtual Innovators Academy. I accepted the job in writing. Told me the job would begin in 3 + weeks. In the interim she asked me to attend 8.5 hours of meetings. I enrolled my children in Day care, bought better internet for the remote work, invested in a good camera. Her school was a hot mess though. Couldn’t figure out where the curriculum was coming from, had me meeting with a ton of different coaches and co teachers and off broadway guy who had nothing to do with the Gov class I was going to teach so I asked questions. The teacher I was to replace was getting aggrevated but I stayed courteous and tried to avoid her but they kept pairing me with her in zoom breakout groups. Next thing I know I get an email telling me they aren’t giving me the job now. I sent a bill for my hours, she refused to pay. I will be suing for my wages!
